Technically - the more tubes you put in the canopy of the sunbed, the bigger the canopy becomes - which means the tubes are further away from the skin of the tanner.

There is a real trade-off between number of tubes in the canopy and how close the tubes are to your skin. So you could have a bed with 100 tubes in but it would be no different as they would be so far away from the skin for you to notice any difference.

Some beds with 35 tubes tan better than 50 tube beds because of this reason. Our advice - find what works best for you and don't assume that the more tubes the better the tan!
